New Year, New Outlook

It is the beginning of a new year and all of us have a wish for 2010. For most people that have been directly affected by the recession last year, debt consolidation is one of the main things that these people would want to achieve, but of course, it would take more than wishing for it and declaring a no debt new year’s resolution to solve this problem. One thing that I see from the people that are having some problems financially is that they are having some trouble living the “simpler” life.

People have to understand that if the nights are cold and the blanket is too short, we must learn how to fold our bodies. Learn that we can do away without those things that can be considered luxuries and try to keep everything as simple as possible, until such time that we are able to bounce back from the situation that this bad economy has bestowed upon us. Learn how to be patient as well because as Alfred, from the movie “Batman: The Dark Knight” once said, “Things were always going to get worse before they got better.” Learn how to accept that we all must face darkness before we see the light of the sun.
